Suffragan Bishop David E. Johnson is a recognized servant-leader, passionate teacher, and intentional voice within both the church and broader community. With an unwavering commitment to the Word of God, he has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and shepherding with excellence, while demonstrating a heart that beats for both winning the lost and strengthening the saints. His ministry reflects a global vision, reaching souls locally and abroad, with a mission to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Johnson is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Grace Apostolic Church in Minnetonka, Minnesota, a thriving ministry committed to cultivating an atmosphere of spiritual growth, discipleship, and excellence. Under his leadership, Grace Apostolic Church continues to impact the community through prayer, outreach, and intentional ministry that fosters holistic transformation.

An advocate for both spiritual and natural empowerment, Bishop Johnson values education as a vital tool for kingdom advancement. He studied at Aenon Bible College, Bethel University, and Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. His commitment to equipping others extends beyond the pulpit, as seen through his entrepreneurial and nonprofit endeavors. He is the Owner of A Touch of Grace Barbershop, Generation Grace Academy, and the Founder and CEO of Mind the G.A.P.P., Inc., an organization designed to create pathways for individuals to close the gap toward prosperity and success.

Bishop Johnson’s leadership extends to multiple organizations and councils. He currently serves as:

• Chairman of the Minnesota Wisconsin Dakotas District Council (MWDDC) under the leadership of Diocesan Richard D. Howell, Jr.

• General Secretary of the International Missions Department of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (P.A.W.)

• Board Member of the Stair Step Foundation

• Board Member of the Minnesota Council of Churches

Through these roles, Bishop Johnson continues to demonstrate his vigor and vision for kingdom work. His philosophy of “winning the lost at any cost” is more than a statement—it is the essence of his life’s work. With humility, compassion, and determination, he remains a servant-leader whose ministry bridges generations, empowers communities, and glorifies God across the world.
